. Fluorescence microscopy: Inverted fluorescence microscope (GFP, RFP, DAPI filters) with dedicated B&W Nikon camera and analysis software.
. Microplate washer and incubator system: Dispenser/washer/incubator for microplates up to 384-well format.
. UV-Vis Spectrophotometer: Wavelength range from 190 to 1100 nm, Xenon pulse lamp source, Double beam Czerny-Turner monochromator.
. Flow cytometry: 06 parameters (FSC, SSC + 04 colours).
. Molecular Biology: PCR thermocycler (96-well microplates), real-time PCR (qPCR), gel electrophoresis, Western blotting system, protein electroelution, gel documentation system, nanodrop spectrophotometer, minispin centrifuge, DNA workstation.
. Tissue and Cell cryopreservation: Liquid N2, -80ºC ultrafreezer.
. Sonicator: Ultrasonic processor for standard cell disruption and small volume applications.
. Microbiology and Cytology: In association with Laboratory for Microbiology, Cytology and Molecular Biology of the ETS/UFPB (LABIMIC), we share all the facilities for Microbiology and Cytology studies.
